Knitting the National Parks KIT Petrified Forest Beanie

Each kit includes enough yarn in the appropriate colors to complete the kit. Colors include Universal Yarn in Marigold, Shamrock Heather, Smoke Tweed, Merlot Tweed, and Rust Heather. The yarn used in this beanie is worsted weight and 100% wool. (Kit includes yarn only). Hat.

Needles: US Size 5 / 3.75 mm 16 inch long circular knitting needles.
              US Size 7 / 4.5 mm 16 inch long circular knitting needles.
              US Size 7 / 4.5 mm double pointed needles (DPNs)
              (or sizes needed to obtain gauge)
Notions: Three stitch markers (Two of one color and one of another color)
             Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge:   With larger needles, approx. 9 1/2 stitches = 2 in. in stockinette stitch, blocked.
