Knitting the National Parks KIT Rocky Mountain Beanie

Each kit includes enough Universal Yarn in the appropriate colors to complete the kit. Colors include Blue Rustic, Cumulonimbus, Greenery, Marigold, Pulp, Smoke Heather, Turquoise Rustic, Twilight Rustic, and Shamrock Heather. 4 yards of Red and Spice Rustic for optional flowers are included. The yarn used in this beanie is worsted weight and 100% wool. (Kit includes yarn only). Hat.

Needles: US Size 5 / 3.75 mm 16 inch long circular knitting needles.
              US Size 7 / 4.5 mm 16 inch long circular knitting needles.
              US Size 7 / 4.5 mm double pointed needles (DPNs)
              (or sizes needed to obtain gauge)
Notions: Three stitch markers (Two of one color and one of another color)
             Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, duplicate stitching, and French knots.
Gauge:   With larger needles, approx. 9 1/2 stitches = 2 in. in stockinette stitch, blocked.
