It has been a while since our last newsletter! This one may be a bit long so if you get tired of reading, just scroll down and look at the pictures!
When I first started writing today’s newsletter yesterday, it was 50 degrees with blue skies. I was going to talk about the robin I heard on my morning walk and the green grass starting to show. Overnight, 9” of snow fell on top of a thin layer of ice. Hooray! SNOW!!! MOISTURE!!!!! I took the picture of these two bull elk as I drove or rather slid into work this morning. The poor guy on the right has already lost his antlers while his buddy still has his!

Speaking of elk, check out this horizontal panel from the Timber Trail collection – we don’t often see horizontal ones. This panel and its supporting blenders in the collection are spectacular!
Anyone who loves aspen (birch for those of you east of the Mississippi) will love this panel and kit which gives a more comprehensive look at these beautiful trees. The collection is called Rooted for obvious reasons and is based on Northcott’s Stonehenge.
Lakeside Retreat is a peaceful collection that draws you in. Imagine you live in the house and how that would feel…..
For you knitters, we now have Polka Dot Sheep’s Tulip in skeins on the floor. It is a fun brightly colored yarn used in Nancy Bates’ All American New Mexico beanie and would be fun in any bright project you have in mind.
We have a bunch of new classes added and some still in the works – see below. If you are traveling to Estes Park this summer, keep these dates in mind and treat yourself to some quilting, knitting, and/or crocheting time while on the road!
Have a great week!
