We are holding an end of the year STASH BUILDING SALE beginning tomorrow (Thursday) and running until all the sale items are gone or December 31st, whichever comes first. Price reductions range from 25% to 75% and the fabric and yarn deals will be available in the shop and online. Join us for Open Sew and Stitch on Thursday, do some stitching, have some cookies, and do some stash building or pick up some fabrics for backings. Calling all lovers of David Taylor and his gorgeous appliques! We all know how much David loves and promotes hand applique, BUT he is coming to our shop for a one-day class February 28th on Turned-Edge Machine Applique. You won’t want to miss this class! The project (materials included in the price) is “I Lost My Mitten”. Come learn from the master and have a fun time while you are at it!!! Seats are limited.
The Wyoming beanie has been kitted at last. Wyoming has some of the largest fossil deposits in the country and Nancy Bates has captured these fossils in the Wyoming state beanie. This is a cute beanie for dinosaur fanatics.
We are expecting more super high windsfor the next couple of days – don’t blow away out there! And hey, all of you mid-westerners, send some of your snow back our way!
