Spring-Summer
Hello everyone!!! It’s been a while since the last newsletter. We have sure been busy with the Boise, Idaho show, the Castle Rock Colorado Show, the Estes Park Wool Market, and the Northern Colorado Shop Hop (last day is today, Saturday!). It has been awesome to meet so many new people and to share a bit of the mountains.
Our block in the NoCo Shop Hop quilt is #2 (2nd from the top left). You can only pick up the kit or pattern in the shop!
Speaking of mountains, I know it sounds weird to some of you, but spring is in full bloom here (yes, mid-June). The wildflowers are out in force - it seems like every day when I go on my walk, I spot a new variety. The elk cows are having their babies, and despite temps in the 40s at night, it is getting into the 70s during the day.
During the last few weeks since our last newsletter, many fabrics and collections have come in. I’ll share some now and some more next week!
The Timberland Trails Collection from Wilmington Prints is a fun take on cabin style fabrics. We have a kit that will make a throw perfect for your cabin, tent, trailer, or sofa.
For those of you who have been doing our Foundation Paper Piecing, we have a finishing pattern and two different finishing kits out - one is a throw size that uses 12 blocks and one is a wallhaning size that uses 4 blocks. This pattern is a great way to showcase your hard work.
Into the Wild by Benartex has animals and mountains in plums, greens, and tans with a bit of a geometric pattern thrown in. The blenders help accent the colors in the animals. You can create a lot of different looks with this collection!
If you are in need of a quick gift, we have potholder kits available using our mountain stripe fabric. Each kit will make 2 potholders - these go together fast.
The First Snow Collection is in and those of you who pre-ordered items, they are in the mail. We will be kitting the Snowy Corner pattern.
A reminder that starting Sunday (tomorrow), our Shop Hop hours end and we will revert back to our regular hours of Tuesday - Saturday, 10 - 5.
