Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!!!!
Winter with all its daily changes is in full swing. By that I mean warm days / cold days, promises of snow then sun / promises of sun then snow, and wind….did I mention wind? Those of you who live in the mountains or on the plains know what I mean!!!!
The mountains look different from one moment to the next - right after a snow before the wind blows the snow off or when clouds are scudding across the sky, changing the way light plays on the trees and rocks. When I watch the constantly changing views, I can’t help but think of how would I capture the varied colors and contrasts in a stitched product. Look around you and think about how you could incorporate what you see into your next project.
What is new? Lots!
On January 1st, we started a rewards program. For every dollar you spend, you will earn a point towards a reward. For every 200 points, you will receive a $10 coupon good on future purchases whether online or in the store.
Also on January 1st, the Got It Done 2025 Challenge began. Here are the rules: (1) Each month you must finish a project in the month. The project could be one you started years ago - what this challenge is about is FINISHING. The project can be big or little, you be the judge. (2) You must send a picture of your finished project to info@peaktopeakstitching before midnight mountain time on the last day of the month. If it comes in after midnight, it does not count! We will confirm receipt of your email by the 10th of the next month. If you are worried, send the email and then take a picture of the email after it has been sent and thereby has been timestamped. (3) All who submit a finished project for each month in 2025 will be entered into a drawing for prizes. Participants will be invited to join a Got It Done 2025 Facebook group – details to come. Get piecing, knitting, and/or crocheting and finishing!
