Back to Summer!
Woohoo! Back to enjoying summer! The Alexander Mountain Fire is no longer a threat at 91+% contained. All highways are back open. Now, we can relax and enjoy the warm days and deer or elk jams. The fawns and calves are growing up fast and their spots are fading. The cooling nights and an occasional yellow aspen leaf or red plant leaf makes us wonder whether they are the first small indication of the coming season change or just dying leaves.
I know it is still hot in many places, but check this latest product from Riley Blake – the MINKY Wilderness and Wonder National Park blanket!!! The colors are quite vibrant and both the front (short) and back (fuzzy) are MINKY. The best part is that the blanket is already sewn together as a blanket, no sewing necessary! My staff LOVE this blanket and we think you will too.
We also carry other Minky fabrics that can be used for backings – tan, off-white, red, black, brown, ice green, and purple.

A few of you have requested we kit our Foundation Paper Pieced Evergreen Tree and so we did. Along with our FPP Stellar’s Jay and FPP Indian Paintbrush, you can now get the tree.
We have newly arrived Anthology batiks that include a beautiful collection called Juniper in teals and blues and some purples and an orange. The designs are great, but the best part is the colors. Check these out on the website or in the store...this picture does not do it justice.
