Where the wind blows...

Where the wind blows, the fire goes. Voluntary evacuations for the Alexander Mountain Fire are within about 2 miles of the town limits. If you would like to visit the shop, be sure to check our website at peaktopeakstitching.com - look at the banner at the top of the home page for our current status. Alternatively, call us at 970-296-8385 to check first. I will try and keep our answering machine up to date as well. If we close the shop, we will post on our website and FaceBook. Remember, we are always open online!

For Hot August Knits yarn crawlers, if you would like a Peak to Peak Stitching mini-skein but do not want to come up to Estes (we understand!), please send an email to info@peaktopeakstitching with your name and a phone number. We will call you back when we can and get your mini-skein ordered. Once ordered, the mini-skein will be held for you at the store for in-store pick-up when you are ready.

August Sale items are live. This month the Mineral collection by Tula Pink, the Luv Ya Quilt Kits made with the Mineral fabrics, and all of our Aspen Gold and Strips for all Seasons kits will be 20% off.

For you landscape artists out there, we have some summer aspen fabric in. The colors are rich pretty and are not just tree trunks!

On Tuesday, August 6th, our next Foundation Paper Piecing will become available in the store and online! It is a beautiful Indian Paintbrush.

We have a new fabric collection in for elementary aged kids called Backyard Bug Collector. This fabric is fun. I was totally in love with it until one of my staff members pointed out that one of the bugs was a tick. Hmmm. Now, I’m mostly in love with it! This is a large collection with several fabrics with prints, a bug jar quilt, and coordinating blenders. Just a few of the fabrics are pictured below.

Back to school time is fast approaching! Send the kids back to school and come join us for a one day retreat to Learn How to Knit on August 17th or to Learn How to Quilt on August 24th in a fun relaxed atmosphere.

Do a rain dance for us!
