Rodeo Time
The Columbines are finally blooming in the high country! It is also Rooftop Rodeo Week here in Estes Park. The Rodeo Parade is Monday, July 8th. Great weather and a great time to come up and check out what’s new!
Our July Sale fabrics are from the Peppered Cottons Collection by Studio E. These fabrics are rich colors that blend wonderfully and are very soft in texture. Our July Sale kits are Woodland Wonders in Flight and Glory!. Both are beautiful and easy to piece.
While we will not be bronc bustin’, we would like to help you do some stash busting! On July 20th from 10AM to 4PM, we are having a Summer Quilt Day to make quilts for Quilts Beyond Borders. Bring in scraps (check out Debi’s FB Live tomorrow morning (Friday) at 9AM ET for a great block using scraps), bring in fabric you want to clean out, bring in (or drop-off any time) your orphan blocks that you are tired of staring at, BUST YOUR STASH, and join us for a fun day being creative.
Back in stock – the Cuddle Wisteria Hummingbird kit. We also carry cuddle for backing in two coordinating colors.
Back in stock – Scott Flanagan’s Changes in Seasons II pattern featuring a line of batik fabrics designed by Scott. (We also have kits ready to go.)
We are growing our skill in hosting our in-store classes online as well. If you would like to take a retreat or class but will not be in town, let us know and we will be glad to host the event on zoom for you. For example, the upcoming Alpine Aster Skinny Shawl Retreat on July 26 and the Charley Harper Rocky Mountain Panel Quilt Retreat on September 14 will be hybrid. Any questions, give the shop a call at 970-296-8385 and ask for Debi or Catherine.
We know that parking in Estes in the summer can be a bit “rodeo”. However, we still have free parking while you shop at Peak to Peak Stitching! When you come to our shop, park in the spaces that surround the US Bank Building and give your license plate number to a shop employee when you come in. We can get you free parking while you shop.
