New for Spring - Custom Beanies, Tags, and Fabrics

Green! The snow and rain have brought hints of green! It is fun to see the progression of color and blooming trees over the next few weeks when driving Routes 34 or 36 from downvalley to Estes Park.

We hosted our first multi-day retreat this past week and what a fun event it was! Our new Class/Retreat Area worked well for the 12 attendees. Nancy Bates of Knitting the National Parks and Knitting California taught three classes and introduced two new beanie designs by Nancy Bates Classic Colorado and Peak to Peak Stitching’s exclusive version of Colorful Colorado! Paula Koerner of Chicks with Sticks also taught classes. All who attended had a wonderful time – so much so that they requested a new Quickie Retreat be created – Alpine Aster Skinny Shawl on July 26th.

The Classic Colorado (below left) and Colorful Colorado (below right) will be launched as part of Local Yarn Shop Day, Saturday, April 27th. You won’t find them in the shop or online until then so make a note on your calendar for Saturday to stop in or order online. Kits will be sold with and without a pattern. Only order without a pattern if you have already ordered a kit with a pattern! The patterns are only available at Peak to Peak Stitching.

We have the matching leather tags to go with each of the beanies, as well as one for Peak to Peak Stitching (tags all available now).

Bound to Be Quilting is working hard on the patterns for our new custom Longs-Meeker fabrics. These patterns and kits are now available for pre-order. We hope to have kits available in 2-3 weeks.

Other new patterns from Villa Rosa are in as well as other fun notions. Stop in and see the new items.

Have a great week!!!!! Remember Local Yarn Shop Day this Saturday!
