The birds are coming!
Back to snow for us! Check out this link to Rocky Mountain National Park live webcams. Many of you are starting to see things like tulips and daffodils poking out of the ground. We are into our snowy time of year here in Estes Park, but that does not mean we aren’t thinking spring!!! If you go outside when it is above 30, you can hear birds chirping now and the sun is up ever earlier each day.
Hallett's Peak on Saturday, 3/2/24
Thinking of birds, how about Charley Harper? All our Charley Harper fabrics are 20% off in March (including our Rocky Mountain National Park Charley Harper fabrics). Charley Harper is printed on high quality organic cotton. The prints are always whimsical and fun.
The March kit-of-the-month on sale is the Wildlife Table Runner and Placemats kit. It too is 20% off.
Did you know that March is National Crochet Month? If you don’t know how to crochet, come join our Quickie Learn to Crochet Retreat on March 23. It will be a fun opportunity to learn a new skill or to tune-up an old one.
Also on the yarn front, Paula Koerner of Chicks with Sticks will be hosting a hybrid class (both recorded video and live zoom) called Building Blocks based on Michelle Hunter’s book by that name. This is a great opportunity to learn to knit from the comfort of your own home or while you are on the road. I took this class last year and it has made a big difference in my confidence and abilities.
Think spring!
