New Collections !
It snowed at last! When the weather gets cold and snowy, the elk herd up and cause elk jams. Check out this picture of the elk flowing around my car. Elk do not care!
Our birthday celebration was awesome. Thank you to all who visited in the store and online. On the online front, we shipped our first packages to Alaska and to Hawaii last week. In the last year, we have shipped to 45 states and one overseas to a person in the armed forces (we are still waiting to ship to Delaware, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, and West Virginia).
Spring collections are starting to come in. The current shop favorite is Moonlight Kisses – a sweet 7-piece collection that is centered around a mother bear and her 2 cubs. While I love the panel my favorite is the firefly pattern. Colorado has black bears, but not fireflies. :>
The other collection that came in was Scott Flanagan of 4th and Main Design’s “Quilting is My Voice”. If you would like the story behind this collection, go Dysphona.org/quilting-is-my-voice/. I hope you will be as inspired as we were. This is a large collection with a variety of designs. We have kitted one of Scott’s patterns that goes with the line, Changes in Seasons II.
Two other collections came in as well. One is a smaller collection called Woodsy and Whimsy that has soft blurred colors that would be perfect as borders or accents. The animals have patterns within which makes you want to keep looking at the fabric!
Check out the pieced shop sample top for the Rocky Mountain Floral Felicity pattern (sects 7-8). If you want to join us and learn how to use the Sew Kind of Wonderful Rulers, sign up for our May 11th Quickie Retreat.
We have seen the Colorado special beanie that Nancy Bates will launch at our retreat. OH…WOW… That is all I am gonna say. Attendees will get to choose between a “classic” look and a “colorful” look.
Thank you to those of you who responded to our question about the mystery scarf. Enough of you thought it would be an easy way to knit and see the mystery pattern come together. Jean Gillies is putting together the program so we should have more details in 2-3 weeks to get it going!
Ok Got it Done group, we are more than ½ way through February. Get your February projects done and email us a picture at info@peaktopeakstitching.com and post on your FB page!
Take care everyone!
