Got snow? Well, Estes Park received some….we are trying to figure out why a forecast of 3-6” of snow in February, in the mountains, needs a “Winter Storm Warning”. We can NOT figure out those forecasters! Check out this picture of bull elk laying around chewing their cud. While I’ve seen 2-3 together before, I’ve never seen 6 much less 6 with no females around! (The picture only shows 4 because the other two were a little bit off to the side.)

Our birthday celebration is this coming Saturday, February 10th. Join us online by using the coupon code of “birthday” (one day only on the 10th)or join us in store for snacks and treats. Our customer fabrics and kits using our custom fabrics will be 25% off and everything else in the store will be 10% off!

There’s still a whole lot of winter left. Check out these beautiful batik blues, winter whites, and flannels. If you need ideas for patterns, just let us know!

A reminder that our March 23rd Quickie Day Retreat “Learn to Crochet” is suitable for kids 12 years old and up that want to learn a new skill.
We have some wide-backs in. A wide-back is fabric that is 108” wide. It makes backing a quilt a whole lot easier (think no piecing)!. Also, you can cut vveerryy long strips if you have a fabric you love. That means less splicing strips together for borders or binding. Check these new ones out!

Question for you knitters out there…would you be interested in participating in a Mystery Block of the Month Scarf? Jean Gillies, our knitting and crocheting instructor would design a mystery scarf. Each month, for eight months, we would host a 1-hour lesson each month to go through the pattern for that month’s section and help with any issues you might have. The cost would be $60 which would include coffee, tea, sparkling waters, and chocolate and a lesson. If you think you would like to participate, please send a note to info@peaktopeakstitching. We are exploring how to get our knitting community together to stitch, chat, and learn.
There have been some minor changes to our website. We are trying to make it easier to find things like Preorders, Blocks of the Month, applique, etc. Any feedback or suggestions welcome at info@peaktopeakstitching.com
Congratulations to the 25 quilter, knitter, and crocheter members of our Got it Done group who completed a project in January!
Take care and stay warm everybody!
