It's a good time to visit Estes Park!
The summer crowds are starting to thin just a bit during the week because the start of school is upon us! The weather is in a beautifyl late summer pattern. Now is the time to come visit Estes Park!
We just got in the beautiful Tuscan Terrace collection from Northcott which is reflective of late summer. All the staff love the rich colors - see a few of them in the picture below. If you watch our FaceBook live from August 4, you will see Debi using the fabrics. Check it out!

See what we have done with kitting her Stopping in a Woods pattern for Christmas stockings! When you buy the pattern you get all six stocking designs, but you can buy individual kits for each stocking!
Our last Christmas collection has come in, Island Batik’s Holiday at Home contains rich red, deep green and beautiful gold batiks.

Hot August Knits 2023 is coming to an end this Saturday, August 12th. It has been great to meet so many new people over the last couple of weeks. Because we sold out of our mini-skeins (as has every other store), you can order our mini-skein online or give us a call. A new batch of mini-skeins will be ordered for delivery in mid-late September. Your order can be picked up at the HAK store of your choice.
More on classes. Our class schedule is up and current through September. New ones recently added include a Welcome to Estes Panel Bag class. The bag is quick and easy to make - it would make a great gift. The instructions for making the bag are right on the panel so you can make this on your own!. Also upcoming is Jackie Vujcich’s Colorful Columbine Landscape Quilt class offered in a blue or a purple colorway. Paula Koerner is coordinating a retreat next April 2024 with Nancy Bates (author of Knitting the National Parks).
