Is it summer yet?
The good thing about rain is that everything is GREEN, the wildflowers are blooming in droves, and the fire danger is low. However, it would sure be nice to have some more sun!!!! It's too soon to put away the jackets just yet.
What is rather strange, (but it’s the nature of stitching) is that as spring is moving into summer here in the mountains, holiday and Christmas fabrics are starting to arrive. We will show you those in a couple of weeks so you can get started on projects for the holidays.
For now, check out this colorful line called “Space Dye”…I have no idea what the word “space” has to do with this! These fabrics have a fun texture and color pallette that will add depth to whatever you are stitching.
The other recent arrival is our first line of fabric that will be perfect for all of you who need a baby quilt or a gift for new parents. Check out Woodland Adventures for a collection of very cute forest animals.
Last weekend was Wool Market 2023 and our first show. It was great to meet a lot of yarn lovers and see all the beautiful fibers. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth. The products we had there are all back in the store and available. The new product we launched at the show, the Trail Ridge Shawl made with Rowan cotton yarn is also available now in the store and online.
Join our stitching community on Thursdays from 1-4. We have quilters, knitters, crocheters….if it involves stitching, bring it along. Also, keep an eye on our calendar and classes as we now have a full slate of classes loaded through July. August classes will be up soon. We have classes for everyone from knitting shawls to socks to hats to brioche and from learning to quilt to landscape fiber art to throws, and more.
Take care and keep on stitching!
