Dates: August 27, 28, 29, 2026 (Last date to register August 13, 2026)
Time: Setup starts at 8:30 a.m. Class is 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day with a 1-hour lunch break (meal included)
Class Description: This class will teach you how to make a pictorial applique. Finished block will be 24” x 24”. You choose your favorite bird picture and bring fabrics to fill into the pattern to make your own unique bird quilt.
Cost: $675.00 Includes the pattern, freezer paper, lunches, snacks, and drinks (not fabric)

Prerequisite Skills: Basic sewing skills

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made two weeks before the course starts will be refunded if the cancellation does not drop the number of attendees below the minimum; a $25 cancellation fee will be applied. If your cancellation drops the number of attendees below the minimum number of attendees or if your cancellation is made less than two weeks before the course starts, no refund will be available unless we are able to re-sell your spot. If we can re-sell your spot, we will refund your registration fee less a $25 cancellation fee.

(Fabric not included.) - Finger stiletto - Both paper and fabric scissors - Inexpensive straight pins for pinning pieces to design wall - Straight pins for appliqué - 24” x 24” piece of home insulation board for assembling your design - Pencil and eraser - Resealable plastic bags for organizing pattern pieces Optional Materials: - Travel size iron - Travel size pressing mat - Straight pins for appliqué - Muslin or Kona cotton in background (sky) fabric, full size of quilt - Hand sewing needle and thread - Yellow highlighter |
