Class Description: This class is for beginning knitters, who know the basic knit and purl stitches. You will learn some new knitting stitches and how to knit a market bag.

Prerequisite skills: Beginner knitter

• 2 skeins (50 gm each) DK weight cotton yarn, any colors
• Size 8 knitting needles, 16” circular
• Size 8 set of double-pointed needles, 6"
• Size 8 set of double-pointed needles, 6"
• Crochet hook (size 5, 6, or 7)
• Stitch markers
• Yarn sized tapestry needle

| Instructor Bio: | I have been knitting since I was 9 years old. My husband and I have lived in Estes Park for 4 years and in Colorado for 40 years. We have 4 dogs - two Irish Wolfhounds, a rescue puppy, and the rescue puppy's puppy. My hobbies include knitting, crocheting, quilting, reading, and walking. |
