2024 - 12/14 Quickie One-Day Retreat - Small Project Skill Builder ZOOM
Class Description: Learn new skills or just enjoy a day of sewing gifts! Debi and Catherine will be teaching skills needed to make a hexie table centerpiece, bind a pair of holiday placemats, and add flying geese to the cuff of a pillowcase. This will be an easy going retreat. Treat yourself to a day of sewing and learning new skills with great tools. Price includes all class materials, flying geese and hexagon tools.

Class Size: min 4, max 10
Class Location: Zoom
Prerequisite skills: Advanced beginner – must be comfortable with basic quilting skills and able to manage your sewing machine. Must have access to Zoom.
Required Materials:
- Working sewing machine – Peak to Peak Stitching staff cannot help with any machine issues – be sure you know how to use your machine!
- 1/4" Foot and Walking Foot recommended
- Needles – 80/12, (Microtex recommended) and 90/14, (Topstitch or Quilting recommended)
- Basic sewing tools – pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc.
- Thread, 50wt. Aurifil recommended
- Quilting rulers, 6-1/2" x 24-1/2" or somewhat similar size and a 2-1/2" x 12-1/2" or somewhat similar size.
- Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
- Cutting mat
- Iron and ironing surface. Best Press recommended
